Not much. Had reservations for two nights but left after the first night. Went across the street to a nice clean and safe hotel and was $13.00 a night cheaper.
When we entered the room a empty juice box was in the floor, trash in the trash can no soap or towels. Was given another room only to have someone with a key to our room try to open the door at 1:39 AM. The chain on the door was the only thing that keep them from coming on in.
The room was infested with roaches
In a great location, great staff
Saw a roach, just one. We had been there 3 days. I am not blaming the staff or the hotel. There was a lot of people staying there. I had a great experience except for that.
The entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and the hot breakfast was perfect.
The bed was comfortable. Guest Service was very helpful and very pleasant.
Think you're still in need of some improvements.but over all good for the price.
Perhaps breakfast? And the girls at reception were very kind.
The place looks like a really bad place. There is trash everywhere. Just in front of my room door where a pile of garbage and beer boxes and on the top was an open box of half eaten food and chicken bones. All along the halfways were empty beer cans and bottles. Very dark and bad smelling common places. My husband did never allow me to walk alone from our room to reception because ot the overall atmosphere. At night people yell and scream and were bad behaving kids cursing until early morning while turning on fireworks. We spend two nights and those situations were the same all the time. I must add we are a young couple, and we spent one year and a half travelling europe low budget so we are not that picky or demanding with regards of our hostals. But we really never seen something like this. It was awful. I forgot to tell that all rooms smell cigarretes, even no smokers and we have to move to find the "least worst". So dont expect so much difference between smokers and no-smokers rooms.
The air conditioning worked
The rooms were shabby, there is construction right nxt door...you WILL be awakened in the early morning. You pay for what you get.
Free Wi-Fi, continental breakfast, close 2 where I needed 2b,good price
Had 2 wait an extra 2hrs 2 get in my room
Big Pool, nice beds, friendly front desk staff, not far from area attractions such as beach and downtown charleston....my son loved watching the planes fly over the pool while we were swimming
had breakfast, just not much to choose from....i love sausage gravy so i was pleased, but could use more options for picky children
Staff very very unfriendly and unprofessional.
Staff very helpful and willing to help you with what you needed ,rooms were clean and cozy
This really bothered me they have to keep a better eye on the pool local teens crashed the pool the entire day people they were rude and showed no respect for paying guest they did not have a room rented I watched them arrive party at the pool then I watched them leave it was several groups of them other then that it was alright but ruined the pool time
It was located right off the highway. Pool hours were good.
Not very well upkept. Terrible continental breakfast
It was close by restaurants, shopping courts and the city
The room smelled badly and we found bugs everywhere. Bathroom was nasty. There were lots of sketchy people sitting right outside our door making us scared the entire time we were there
Bathroom floor filthy, mattresses are ancient and mushy, NO electrical outlets but ONE, WiFi does not reach rooms more than 50 feet from office, breakfast worse than school cafeteria, low life clientele who drank massive quantities of beer all night plus the lovely young woman on the pay phone (drug dealers use pay phone, no one else) shooting up in her arm.
Excellent location for shopping, highway and Coliseum
Bathroom floor filthy, mattresses ancient and mushy, NOISY A/C unit, "breakfast" worse than school cafeteria. NO electrical outlets but one. Heavy furniture covered all the others so they were unusable.
